The Bureau of Soils and Water Management (BSWM) joins the observance of 18-Day Campaign
to End Violence Against Women from November 25, 2022 – December 12, 2022 with the new
banner “UNiTEd for a VAW-free Philippines”. This theme aims to highlight the powerful impact
of combining individual efforts towards a collaborative and united thrust towards a VAW-free
Philippines.
This year’s campaign also seeks to determine where the nation stands in terms of
understanding and actions towards VAWC. Major activities aim to assess how knowledgeable
individuals are on VAWC and its various forms and manifestations.
The Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) remains steadfast in its advocacy to eradicate all
forms of violence against women and children/girls.
