In line with the celebration of the 8th Organic Agriculture Month (OAM), the DA-Bureau of Soils and Water Management (DA-BSWM) joined the Department of Agriculture (DA) OAM program which showcases organic agriculture technologies and researchers at DA Central Office Main Lobby last November 7, 2022.
DA-BSWM-Soil and Water Resources Research Division (SWRRD) and DA-BSWM Organic Agriculture Program (DA-BSWM-OAP) showcased the different technologies and research for organic agriculture of the Bureau.
During the activity, Senate Committee on Agriculture and Food Senator Cynthia A. Villar together with Senior Undersecretary Domingo F. Panganiban, National Organic Agriculture Program, and other DA executives formally opened the celebration of the Organic Agriculture Month.
Proclamation No. 1030, series of 2015 declares the month of November of every year as “Organic Agriculture Month” which promotes the practice of organic agriculture in the Philippines.
